Abstract

1. Human development in DKI Jakarta Province continues to experience progress marked by the continued increase in the Jakarta Human Development Index (HDI) which has reached 80.76.

2. The HDI figure for 2019 increased by 0.36 percent compared to the previous year's HDI of 80.47

3. DKI Jakarta HDI in 2019 shows an increase but at a slower pace compared to the previous year.

4. Since 2017, the status of human development in DKI Jakarta Province has been included in the "Very High" HDI status.

5. All components forming HDI 2019 increased compared to the previous year. Life expectancy at birth reaches 72.79 years, up from 72.67 years. The old school expectation figure reached 12.97 years, up from 12.86 years. The average length of schooling reaches 11.06 years, up from 11.05 years. Expenditures per capita reached 18.53 million rupiah from 18.13 million rupiah.
