Discussion of the ASN Code of Ethics by the Head of Central Jakarta BPS: Strengthening the Integrity and Professionalism of State Civil Apparatus
Jakarta, 19 June 2025 – In an effort to strengthen the integrity and professionalism of state civil apparatus (ASN), Mr. Undich Sadewo Sunu, as the Head of Central Jakarta BPS, delivered an important discussion regarding the ASN Code of Ethics to all employees within the Central Jakarta BPS environment.

This activity was carried out in an internal forum that took place in the Central Jakarta BPS meeting room and was attended by all employees, both ASN and support staff. In his presentation, Mr. Undich emphasized the importance of understanding and practicing the basic values ​​of ASN, namely service-oriented, accountable, competent, harmonious, loyal, adaptive, and collaborative (BerAKHLAK), as stated in the ASN core values ​​initiated by the government.

In addition to emphasizing the integrity and neutrality of ASN, Mr. Undich also invited all employees to make the Central Jakarta BPS work environment a professional, inclusive, and free from ethical violations and conflicts of interest. He also encouraged increased discipline and commitment in carrying out statistical tasks, both in the fields of data production, processing, and dissemination.

The event was closed with an open discussion session, where employees had the opportunity to convey questions, views, and experiences related to the implementation of the code of ethics in the field. This activity is expected to be able to foster a shared awareness of the importance of professional ethics as a foundation for quality public services.
