Abstract

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a global action plan with a development spirit that considers intergenerational continuity and maintains the balance of nature. The economic development expected in the Sustainable Development Goals is in line with the national development goals, namely the welfare of all Indonesian people. Reliable and up-to-date data support is needed to achieve the SDG goals and national development goals set out in the RPJMN and Nawacita. The publication of human welfare statistics shows the responsibility of BPS as an institution tasked with producing key statistical data to measure the SDG goals and national development. Descriptive statistics on community welfare are sourced from the results of the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) which is a household survey. BPS routinely holds Susenas activities every year in March and September. The information presented in this publication comes from the Susenas survey conducted in March 2024 on 870 households in Central Jakarta. Susenas collects information on population, education, health, fertility and family planning, housing, information and communication technology, crime, tourism and social security. This information is presented at the national and provincial levels to allow for comparisons between regions. This publication is expected to meet the needs of socio-economic information both in planning and evaluation of development. We would like to express our gratitude and thanks to all parties involved in collecting data for the production of this publication. We always welcome constructive criticism and suggestions for improving future publications.
